iPhone not importing photos to PC FIX

There are several reasons why your iPhone may not be importing photos to your PC. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix the problem:

1. Check the basics

  • Make sure that you are using a genuine Apple USB cable and that it is securely connected to both your iPhone and your PC.
  • Try restarting your iPhone and your PC.
  • Make sure that your iPhone is unlocked and that you have tapped "Trust This Computer" when prompted.
  • Check the USB port on your PC to make sure that it is working properly. Try connecting your iPhone to a different USB port.
  • Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your PC.

2. Check your iCloud settings

If you have iCloud Photos enabled, your photos will be stored in the cloud and will not be automatically imported to your PC when you connect it. To import your photos from iCloud, you will need to download them to your PC first.

To check your iCloud settings:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap on iCloud.
  4. Scroll down and tap on Photos.
  5. Make sure that iCloud Photos is turned off.

Once you have turned off iCloud Photos, you can import your photos to your PC using the following steps:

  1. Connect your iPhone to your PC using a USB cable.
  2. Open the Photos app on your PC.
  3. Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left-hand side of the screen.
  4. Click on the "Import All" button.

3. Use a third-party app

If you are still having trouble importing your photos, you can try using a third-party app such as CopyTrans Photo or iMazing. These apps can be used to import your photos to your PC without using iTunes.

To use CopyTrans Photo:

  1. Download and install CopyTrans Photo on your PC.
  2. Connect your iPhone to your PC using a USB cable.
  3. Open CopyTrans Photo.
  4. Select the photos that you want to import and click on the "Export to PC" button.

To use iMazing:

  1. Download and install iMazing on your PC.
  2. Connect your iPhone to your PC using a USB cable.
  3. Open iMazing.
  4. Click on the "Manage Photos" tab.
  5. Select the photos that you want to import and click on the "Export" button.

I hope this helps!
